Cleveland, OH
I have been to Cleveland many times... but I’m so glad I got to go and see all the things that 24-year-old men don’t show you about the city; more fun, more architecture, less beer (but not NO beer!).
Charleston, SC
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the ocean is the best. So if you have a city on the coast and manage to keep me inland, you’ve got quite the accomplishment. Charleston had so much for me to do that I only went to the beach once!
Raleigh, NC
They've got the largest natural history museum in the southeast and the Guinness World Record holder for the most beers on tap. If neither of those is appealing to you, they’ve got a whole lot more… but also you confuse me.
Philadelphia, PA
I would never turn down a stroll through Independence Square, or an afternoon at the Franklin Institute, but you would have to twist my arm to make me do the pose on the Rocky steps.
Indianapolis, IN
Whether your family is a "get out and see the country" or a "stay in and appreciate some of humanity’s accomplishments" kind of family, there’s something for you in Indianapolis.
Erie, PA
You know that part of Pennsylvania that reaches far enough west so that the state touches water on both sides? Well now I really do, and I hope you do, too.
Mount Desert Island / Acadia National Park, ME
Going out onto the ocean, seeing the wildlife, learning about it, learning about the life and industry of Maine’s coastline, and walking around downtown Bar Harbor are all things not to be missed.
Burlington, VT
Even though you can literally wave at my home state from Burlington, I somehow never thought to wave back until now.
Evansville, IN
Evansville hugs the Ohio River and brings the value of a city to the beautiful part of the country in which it sits. And while I might get endlessly distracted by the penguins at Mesker Park Zoo and the cats at the River Kitty Cat Café, there’s much more to do in Evansville!
Historic Perry County, MO
They got me to go into a cave…I feel like that’s all I have to say. I’m an East Coast city gal by birth, but Perry County certainly got me out of my comfort zone, in the best way possible.
New York's Apple Country has fun for the whole family!
